I have been helping enterprise and corporate organisations implement SEO programmes for almost 15 years. These projects usually require a specialist with deep expertise who can work with internal teams and agency partners to deliver the work. As an independent consultant, I can run parts or all of the programme to fit your internal resources and budget. Unlike a typical agency, I will not lock you into a fixed, rigid SEO plan.

Strategy and roadmap

When you hire me, I'll work with your internal teams to develop a strategy that aligns with your project objectives, is fully resourced and ladders up to the desired business outcomes. If you already have a roadmap in place, I can align with that and help move the work forward.

Technical projects

Enterprise websites tend to be larger and have more technical complexity than a typical small-business site. Managing navigation, product taxonomy, schema, XML sitemaps, product feeds and more are often part of the job. I will work directly with your developers, aligning with their sprint schedule, to implement bug fixes and enhancements and act as the advocate for SEO within your business.

PR and brand citations

Links and citations from external websites are the votes that build online brand authority over time. I will work with your marketing, product, social, PR and sales teams to identify opportunities to get your brand cited or linked to. Then we focus on what we need to create to attract the link or mention.

Stakeholder management

SEO and AI projects at enterprise level are almost always cross-departmental, with multiple stakeholders involved. I am highly experienced working with marketing, product, development and leadership teams, and I am comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Content-based projects

Most large businesses I work with have marketing, brand, sales and customer support teams responsible for much of the website content. I am experienced working as part of these teams as the SEO and AI stakeholder in website content refreshes. I can provide requirements briefs for your content creators and, if required, manage the editorial process with key project stakeholders.
