Kowhai Dental is Northland’s leading dental practice, dedicated to improving dental health by providing high-quality, affordable care in a comfortable, friendly environment.

From 2020 to 2024, I worked with Kowhai Dental to significantly increase visibility across organic search and Google Maps.
The brief

Help more Northland locals find trusted dental care

I had two clear requirements.

First, make Kowhai Dental highly visible in Google Organic Search and Google Maps when people in the local area were looking for a reputable dentist.

Second, go beyond the standard local business playbook by demystifying dental procedures and helping Northland locals take control of their dental health.

What we did

Built a local SEO programme around search visibility, treatment content and patient questions

I worked closely with the Kowhai Dental team to develop a content roadmap that clearly communicated the treatments they provided, their pricing information and a practical help centre.

We created and refreshed content frequently, while also managing the Google Business Profile to support visibility across Google Search and Maps.

We developed and refreshed treatment, pricing and help centre content so patients could better understand their options before getting in touch.
